Our home was built in Ensenada in 1887 when the International Company of Mexico arrived in Ensenada and developed a new city plan. In 1901 T. L. McCarthy arrived in Ensenada from San Diego, California and bought the house. In April of 1939 they sold the house to Adelina Varela de Corral, our grandmother and since that day is been in our family.
